New Sheriff’s Office Vehicles on Patrol
Avoyelles Parish Sheriff David L. Dauzat would like to announce to everyone in Avoyelles Parish that the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office now has some new patrol vehicles in service.
Most of the fleet in service when we took office had well over 200,000 miles on them. Breakdowns, expensive repairs, and maintenance were a growing problem for us. We immediately recognized the need to replace some of those vehicles as quickly as possible. We rolled up our sleeves and went to work. We now have four new patrol vehicles patrolling our Parish. We will continue to move forward, and make positive changes in Avoyelles Parish. We will continue to be good stewards of the people’s money.
