APSO Deputy Receives Award at LSP Awards Ceremony
Avoyelles Parish Sheriff David L. Dauzat would like to recognize APSO Patrol Sergeant Brandon Spillman for the award he received at the Louisiana State Police 2023 Awards Ceremony in Baton Rouge, LA. Sgt. Spillman received a LIFE SAVING award along with some of our local LSP Troopers for exemplary dedication and excellence in the performance of their duties by responding to a call for service and administering CPR and other life-saving measures that sustained someone’s life.
Sgt Spillman is also the K-9 Handler for our K-9 Deputy “Max”, and has a total of 17 years of service as a law enforcement officer.
Sheriff David L. Dauzat would like to thank Sgt Spillman, and all law enforcement officers that save people’s lives on a regular basis without ever receiving an award. They work 24/7 around the clock doing that and more. We commend you for your service and dedication.
