On October 18, 2020, the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of indecent behavior with a 12-year-old juvenile in the Mansura, LA area. Further investigation by APSO Patrol Deputies and Detectives revealed that 55-year-old Dalvin Warren of Mansura, LA committed the offenses of LRS 14:81.3 Computer-aided solicitation of a minor, LRS 14:81.1 Pornography involving juveniles, LRS 14:81 Indecent behavior with juveniles, and LRS 14:92 Contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
On October 27, 2020, 12th Judicial District Court Judge William Bennett issued an arrest warrant for the aforementioned offenses. Warren was subsequently arrested for those offenses and booked at the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $200,000.00. On November 2, 2020, Warren made bond and was released.
On July 10, 2021, Dalvin Warren was arrested pursuant to a 12th Judicial District Court arrest warrant for the additional offense of LA R.S. 14:42.A(4) Rape “Persons under 13 years old”.
On July 22, 2021, the Grand Jurors of the 12th Judicial District in Avoyelles Parish found Bills of Indictment and issued True Bills charging Dalvin Warren with the offenses of LRS 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles, LRS 14:81.3 Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor, LRS 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, LRS 14:42 First Degree Rape, LRS 14:92 Contributing To The Delinquency Of Juveniles.
