REMINDER…. Statewide Burn Ban According to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office, a statewide burn ban has been issued effective at 5 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2023, and shall remain in effect until rescinded. Officials said the burn ban applies to all “private” burning unless it is approved by a local fire department or government.
