09.11.2021 Helping Others After Hurricane IDA

At the direction of Sheriff David L. Dauzat,  the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office helped first responders across South Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.  APSO teamed up with the Pointe Coupé Sheriff’s Office in providing generators to other law enforcement agencies in the affected areas.
APSO also assisted the Alexandria Police Department in securing transportation and ice to be sent to the Houma Civic Center.
Sheriff Dauzat would like to thank James Benard Seafood and Joe’s Ice for their generosity and making this possible.
